CMYK
Producer / Tech Designer

CMYK is a 3rd person, puzzle solcing platformer empowered with the properties of colored ink.. This game was developed by a 7 student under the name "Inkblot Studios" for which I was the lead Producer and a assisting Tech Designer.
CMYK was completed in a 2 month development cycle in the Unity game engine.
Roles and Contributions
For this project, I wore several different hats within the team to dynamically adapt to the different skill sets of each member.
Namely, I acted as the Creative Lead and the Lead Producer for CMYK.
CMYK was the first project I was apart of where I began to learn about and develop my skills in Agile Development and Scrum Practices.
Key Lessons
This project was my frist attempt at managing tasks through the use of Sprints. I created a Jira board to organize the tasks I created for the team and assign them to the proper member.

One important take away I gained from CMYK is the importance of the Post Mortem meetings for each Sprint. Gaining feedback from my team on how to better manage the sprints and allocate the tasks made me a better Producer overall.
Documentation
For CMYK, I was responsible for writing the Game Design Document for this project. Like mentioned above, this project was filled with firsts for me as a Producer, which helped shaped how I understood technical writing later on and set crucial foundations for the future.

During CMYK's development, I created several drafts of the team's Game Design Document, accurately displaying our vision for the game and it's different systems.
My first attempt at writing a fully fledged game design document.
